Curious about what it’s like to be a Clinical Medicine student at Kabwe College of Health Sciences? Join us as we take you through a typical day in the life of one of our students and discover the exciting and enriching experiences that await you.

Morning

  • 8:00 AM – Lecture: The day begins with a lecture on medical diagnostics, where students learn about the latest techniques and technologies used in clinical practice.
  • 10:00 AM – Practical Lab Session: Students head to the lab for hands-on training. Today, they’re practicing suturing techniques on simulation models, guided by experienced instructors.

Afternoon

  • 12:00 PM – Lunch Break: A well-deserved break to recharge. Many students gather in the cafeteria to discuss the morning’s lessons and share insights.
  • 1:00 PM – Clinical Rotation: In the afternoon, students participate in clinical rotations at a nearby hospital. They work alongside healthcare professionals, applying their classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios and interacting with patients.

Evening

  • 4:00 PM – Study Group: Back on campus, students meet for a study group session to review the day’s topics and prepare for upcoming exams. Collaborative learning helps reinforce their understanding and fosters a supportive community.
  • 6:00 PM – Personal Time: After a full day, students have some personal time to relax, exercise, or pursue hobbies.
